Through the years I've had many thoughts, ideas, and feelings that I thought were unique to myself only. I spent a lot of time thinking that there must be something wrong with me or that I was the only one who had a problem with a certain character flaw in a friend. It made me feel somewhat....twisted. I have met many different types of people throughout my life and have found that we are not all as twisted as we might think. I worked for 7 years in a pharmacy full of all sorts of different personality types. I worked with people whose ages ranged from mid 80's down to 15. Of course, working every day for an extended number of years with the same people will result in some interesting conversations. I slowly started finding out that some of the things that I had thought would lable me as an odd or twisted individual were actually not so twisted after all. In all actuality, it appeared that most of my co-workers shared my feelings on many subjects.
The more I thought about it, the more I realized that there are so many people who think they are crazy for whatever reason, but if they would just share their problems they might find out that they're not much different (if at all) than the next person.
This blog was started for the main reason of discussing these "twisted" issues we all carry with us on a day-to-day basis.
If you have ever thought you had a twisted feeling about something, only to find out later that most of the people around you actually have the same feelings. Send me your not so twisted story @
amal.cpht@yahoo.com using “not so twisted” as the subject.
Thanks for reading.
